"Jo was a great host allowing us to maximise our time at this great place by checking in early and checking out late. The tent is fabulous. Such a great space, more than enough for even a large family. The little touches of flowers and Prosecco were so thoughtful. The hot tub was great fun and the surrounding field makes you feel totally away from it all. Will definitely be back!"

"Stayed here with a group of old friends for 2 nights and had the perfect getaway from the stresses of everyday life and the long summer hols with the kids! Super comfy and cosy and acres of greenery to explore. Chats in the hot tub, badminton and sat around the fire pit looking at the stars. All the facilities were perfect and can honestly say that none of us (8) had a single complaint. Amazing and highly recommended."

"To start, the accommodation was gleaming, the location was perfect and the facilities were second to none. I truly wish we’d had more than one night to stay over. We’ll definitely be looking to return. I could fawn about this place forever but to save you all time, I’ll just say its HIGHLY recommended by us."

"Fantastic couple of nights away with my daughters during the October half term. Loved the hot tub! Unfortunately the rain kept us from using the fire pit but the tent kept us cosy and there were board games and hot chocolate at hand! The whole experience was better than expected and we’d highly recommend a stay here."

"Great warm welcome and a tour of the property on arrival. They'd heated up the hot tub for us before we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked when we got there. They'd left Prosecco in the fridge and tea, coffee, milk hot chocolate there for us as well! We'd definitely come again if in the area!"

“Jo's place was fantastic - wish we could've stayed longer! Checking in couldn't have been easier, Jo met us and talked us through everything. Bed's were super comfy, Hot Tub was great and the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely added touch! Thanks again.”

“Our stay at Riverwood Glamping was everything we had wanted and more. We were really hoping for a secluded, tranquil getaway to relieve stress and celebrate my partners birthday. The location was gorgeous and the cabin and hot tub were to die for! Even with some rainy weather, our trip couldn’t have been more perfect!”

“A fabulous little hidden gem. We are a family of 5 and stayed a couple of nights . The place was sparkling clean, a friendly host - hot tub was warm for us and bubbles in the fridge. Will definitely stay again!”

“Absolutely perfect! It was relaxing, peaceful & most importantly… private! Lots of private land by the hut. Joanne responded to our booking within minutes and was so lovely. Even better than the pictures! Prosecco on arrival & fresh flowers in the hut were fab extras.”

“If you want a comfortable glamping experience, with lots of space to yourself and peace and quiet, you can’t get better than this. The hot tub, fire pit and garden games, were finishing touches which we really enjoyed.”

“Such a wonderful place! So quiet, secluded and special. We loved the barbecue and fire pit both nights we stayed, the hot tub was gorgeous and the bed was super warm and comfy. Wish we could have stayed longer - very much recommended!”

“Lovely location surrounded by trees gives you a real sense of privacy. The shepherds hut was immaculately done up and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. The wood fired hot tub was a great addition especially to relax the night away watching the stars. Was great for my and son and dog who loved just walking amongst the trees!”

“We loved it! Couldn’t get over how great everything was. The safari tent itself is cozy and spacious with everything you need - it’s nice to have the TV as well. We used the BBQ, fire pit and hot tub both nights - it was really fun. Make sure to take a walk on the property, it’s really peaceful. I wish we stayed a bit longer! 100% recommend staying here!”

“If you’re looking for the perfect escape, this is the place. We relaxed immediately. As others have said, the photos don’t do it justice. The shepherds hut is perfectly appointed, clean and cosy. The deck is large and has a wonderful aspect looking down onto the huge plot , surrounded by trees. Very peaceful. Highlights were relaxing in the wood fired hot tub, listening to the wind in the trees.”

“We had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights. The fire pit and hot tub were great added features. The bed was extremely comfy and overall the tent was very well decorated. It is in the perfect location too that it is very secluded and yet close enough to towns and villages that there is plenty to do.”

“The shepherd’s hut is such a great escape! There is such a great level of attention to detail from the welcome Prosecco, milk and flowers to the great info pack. We loved the hot tub, out door deck and BBQ. The beds were really comfortable and for a small hut it was so well equipped. We loved it! Thank you for such a lovely stay!”
